It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Cameron at his home in Oshawa on December 7, 2024 at the age of 36 years. Loved and never to be forgotten by his devoted parents Colin and Nancy (Moore) Graham, dear son Casper, Casper’s mother and Cameron’s special friend Shanice, aunts, uncles, cousins and many others whose hearts were touched by Cameron over the years. He also leaves behind his beloved cats Lazz and Neko.
Cameron was dealt a challenging life from birth. His entire 36 years were all about surviving, succeeding, setting goals and reaching as far as he was able. Despite the challenges he faced, Cameron never gave up whenever new obstacles interrupted his journey. Cameron and his parents moved to Uxbridge, Nancy’s hometown, in 1996 and established Thistledown Pet Memorial just south of town in 1998. Cameron had a love of animals and he helped with the maintenance of the lawns and trails at Thistledown over the years. A graduate of Uxbridge P.S., Uxbridge S.S., Durham College (x2) and Ontario Tech University, Cameron’s will to succeed never wavered as he pushed on through life.
Sadly, because his life was cut so short, Cameron was never able to achieve many of the goals and dreams that gave him purpose. Cameron is at peace with no more challenges, struggles and disappointments. He was such a compassionate, kind soul who will be remembered by many. Rest in peace dear Cameron, you will always be loved and never forgotten.
A celebration of Cameron’s life will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South on Sunday January 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM (visitation to begin at 12:00 PM). Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Loaves and Fishes Food Bank, Uxbridge would be appreciated by the family. Friends are invited to send condolences by visiting www.lowandlow.ca
