Brian Reid Saban

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Brian at the age of 60 due to health complications at Markham/Stouffville Hospital.   Son of Margaret and predeceased by his father Ernie.  He will be forever and fondly remembered by sisters Patty Jaques (Lyle), Diane Meharg (John), and Sheila Saban.  Fondly remembered by nephews, Alex Jaques, Eric Jaques, Sean Meharg (Parisa), Rob Meharg (Samantha) Timothy Meharg (Robyn), Amanda Maracle and Jonathan Maracle.   

He became a great-uncle this year to Rob and Samantha's baby Gracie. He was a lifelong resident of Markham, attending Markham District High School.  He will be missed by his close and longest friends Marc Petrie and Mark Preston.

No matter how much pain he was in, Brian insisted on going to work to be with his co-workers.  Brian loved animals and especially cats who gave him many laughs and sometimes heartaches.  Charlie the cat, will miss him, but will be well looked after.  Like his father, he was an avid Maple Leafs fan.  He enjoyed golf when he had an opportunity.

A memorial will be held in the near future.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Low & Low Funeral Home, 23 Main Street South, Box 388, Uxbridge L9L 1M8 (905-852-3073).  In lieu of donations we ask that you pay it forward.
