It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Brian Emerson Postill who tragically lost his life in a worksite incident on July 30th at the age of 57. Loving husband and best friend of Tina Postill, proud father of Tyler Postill (Chelsea) and Brittany Norlin (Austin), joyful grandfather of Lettie Postill, dear brother of Gary Postill (Lucette), cherished son of Joan (deceased) and George Postill, precious son-in-law of Lynn Meyers (Dave Jackson) and Ted Meyers (Marion), adored brother-in-law of Bret Meyers (Natasha), Ashley Meyers (Nathan), and Kate Meyers (Julien), and caring uncle of Grace, Isabel, Brinley, Fraser, Claire, and Dianna.

Brian, affectionately known to some as 'Barney', is deeply respected and valued by all, including his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and coworkers. He is known for his thoughtfulness, sense of humour, and generosity. Brian prioritizes his family and consistently puts the needs of others ahead of his own. Brian has always had the remarkable ability to bring a smile to everyone in the room. 

We honour his life and the impact he had on those around him and will be having visitation at Low and Low Funeral Home, 1763 reach Street, Port Perry on Monday, August 5th from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:00-8:00pm.  A Service will be held in the Low & Low Chapel on Tuesday, August 6th at 11:00am.  Interment will take place at Claremont Union Cemetery. 

Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the MySafeWork, an organization dedicated to promoting safe workplaces.
