It is with heavy hearts, and great sadness that we announce the passing of Anastasia Karen Takeda (nee Stambulski) on April 9, 2025.  After a short and courageous battle against Cancer, Anastasia passed peacefully with family by her side. Beloved wife of Robert and devoted mother to son Joshua.  Survived by siblings Douglas, Robert, Anne-Marie, Michael, Louise, Terry and Christina.  Predeceased by her Parents Stanislaw and Sheila (Duncan) Stambulski and brothers Gerard, Marc, and Raymond.  Anastasia will also be greatly missed by her extended family including many nieces and nephews.

Anastasia will be remembered as a beautiful kind soul, full of love, laughter and positive energy and enthusiasm.  Her outgoing personality enabled her to form a vast number of friendships on her journey through life.  She cherished each and every one of them.  Anastasia was proud to have served with the Toronto Police Service for 26 years, where she performed her duties as a Communications Dispatcher.  Anastasia also had the opportunity to work with South Simcoe Police Service in their Communications and Dispatch Center. After retirement, she found great joy in working part time with Winner's for the past 8 years, and helping out at Today's Natural Solutions Health Store.

A celebration of life service will be held with details to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider a donation to the charity of your choice, in her honour.
