Alain (Al) Payette Obituary

Our dear Al passed away on Monday July 8, 2024, at the age of 55. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, including his aunt Odette Parthenais, brother-in-law Chris Life, and nephew Tanner Life. Al is now at peace, reunited with his parents, Pete and Lucille, and his sister Julie.

Born in Cornwall and raised in Kincardine, Al's two favourite things in life were fishing and playing guitar, just like his dad. He was particularly proud of his time as the lead guitarist with his friends in 'Mudfoot Brown'. In his later years, Al returned to Cornwall to be with his father, with whom he shared a devoted companionship for over 20 years.

Thank you, Al, for all the laughs, stories, fishing tips, guitar playing, and heart-to-heart talks. And of course, for always reminding us why Van Halen is the greatest band ever.

Cremation was entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge Chapel. A private ceremony will take place at a later date.
